- is it the MAKERS of this site, michael zhang and michael zupan?
- is it the CONTRIBUTORS of this site, so the community of all bloggers posting here?
- is it the FINANCIERS of this site who pay the money for the servers, i.e. google ads?
- is it someone ELSE we haven't realized yet?
- is it ALL of the above, plus the CIA and the chinese censorship authorities?
it's less and less clear to me.

I guess it all depends on the view one takes...my opinion has most certainly changed within the last few days, however ultimately, if either of the Mikes' wanted to shut the site down, they could...so I guess it is them who officially own the site.

M and M own the technical side - they own the overall concept too. \But what they do not own is the wonderful individual creativity that individual members make.
To me that is what makes Photoblog the great place it is.

I don't think the contributors own anything, they just help PHotoblog to survive, don't they.
Yes, the site must belong to Mike and Mike who started it?
